Founder, president, and co-CEO of Wholesale Janitorial Supply.
His varied professional career, now spanning over 40 years, has always included a common thread—the commitment to excellence in product development and exceptional customer service. It’s a philosophy he has carried throughout his lifetime and one that he still stands by today.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama (plus a minor in Business) from Arizona State University, Elliott accepted a position in merchandising at Tempo Decorative Fabrics in Chicago, a wholesale fabric business whose client list included JCPenney among others.
A couple years later, he began supervising the Music and Games Division at Empire Distributing Company in Chicago, a subsidiary of Bally Manufacturing, Inc. It was here that Elliott learned a great deal about not the sales component of the business, but also the manufacturing and repair process of their full line of coin-operated entertainment products, like jukeboxes, pinball machines, and video games.
His entertainment experience, along with his entrepreneurial spirit, then provoked him to start his own business: Elliott Amusement Company. With branches in Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, and San Diego, Elliott’s business placed coin-operated machines in restaurants and taverns throughout the region. After more than a dozen years of successful enterprising, he sold the business to begin the next chapter in his career—TouchFree Concepts.
TouchFree Concepts is a company specializing in the online sale and distribution of a wide variety of high-quality touch-free products, like soap and towel dispensers, automatic flushers, and air fresheners.
Because of the success of TouchFree Concepts, Elliott created another online business, Wholesale Janitorial Supply. The sister company offers over 5,000 janitorial and sanitation (“JanSan”) products delivered from 34 distribution warehouses throughout the United States.
“Anybody can buy our janitorial supplies at wholesale prices,” he said. “Not only are our prices wholesale to the general public, but we use only professional-grade products from major brands, which are a better value for you and a better product than you will find at a retail store like Walmart or Costco. They also come in professional sizes, with no limits on how much of a product you can purchase.”
Under the umbrella of Greenberg Enterprise Group, Elliott and his son Brian operate as co-CEOs in a variety of business ventures: the aforementioned TouchFree Concepts and Wholesale Janitorial Supply, plus TouchFree Solutions, and True Blue Life Insurance. “It’s a father and son partnership,” he said. “We love being in business together. Brian’s experience with technology has allowed our businesses to expand to include internet sales and we’re just continuing to grow and sell more products. It’s a family business so we respond to your concerns immediately. You will speak with a service representative or you will speak directly to me. The quality of service we provide to our customers is of the utmost importance. The buck stops here.” Elliott currently lives and works in Scottsdale, AZ. He has three children: Brian, and two daughters, Robyn and Jodie.
